Pakistan Super League 2016 or PSL t20 is the first T20 league of Pakistan which combines local and international players as well. The event is all set to begin in UAE also known as United Arab Emirates from Thursday 2016 February 4. This is the very first match of the PSL T20 2016 between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators at Dubai cricket stadium in UAE. After the 1st round there will be 3 quarter finals which will give us the top two teams of the event who will play against each other in the final T20 match on February 23 at Dubai cricket stadium to win the cup.

Islamabad United HBL PSL T20 2016 Squad:

Shane Watson and Andre Russell with Misbah ul Haq the Captain, from west indies they have Samuel Badree and Mohammad Irfan with Brad Haddin from Australia, Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Sami with Khalid Latif, Babar Azam and Imran Khalid with Kamran Ghulam, Umar Amin and Sam Billings from England, Rumman Raees and Amad Butt Supplementary players are Ashar Zaidi and Saeed Ajmal with Umar Siddiq.

Kevin Pietersen from England, Sarfraz Ahmed the Captain with Ahmed Shehzad and Anwar Ali, Jason Holder from West Indies, Luke Wright from England, Zulfiqar Babar and Umar Gul, Elton Chigumbura and Bilal Asif with Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Nawaz and Saad Nasim with Mohammad Nabi, Akbar-ur-Rehman and Bismillah Khan. Supplementary players are Kumar Sangakkara and Aizaz Cheema with Ramiz Raja Jr.

Anwar Ali bowled the first ball of PSL 2016 and opens the PSL 2016 with a maiden over. Zulfiqar Babar started 2nd over to Sharjeel Khan and at the end of the second over Islamabad United scored 5/0. Anwar Ali in the 3rd over given 6 runs. Mohammad Nabi 4th over and Islamabad United scored 12/0. Zulfiqar Babar outs Sharjeel Khan and Nabi makes no mistake here. Wright scored a 4 and Quetta Gladiators win the 1st t20 match of the 2016 PSL edition. Nawaz was the player of the game who took 4 wickets for Quetta. He then produced a good effort with his bat as well. But Wright's attacking 50+ runs was the main part of the innings. Quetta eventually get to an 8 wicket win. Nawaz is the Man of the Match and he said i am very happy with my performance. Misbah team kept losing wickets but Sarfraz 11s bowlers bowled well and Wright gave them a great start.
